Students of Hamdard Public School, Sangam Vihar were kept busy with myriad activities, from an art & craft exhibition to a Computer Science Week. Creativity came to the fore when students constructed doll bed and houses, best-out-of-waste wall hangings, ‘ice-creams stick slippers’ and paper flowers. Parents who were also invited to the exhibition, appreciated the hard work put in by the students and organizers.
Tech-lovers had a field day when a Computer Science Week – “Tech Epic 2013” was conducted. Various competitions in story writing, quiz for senior and junior classes, crossword, Movieonic, fancy dress, multimedia presentation, web-page designing etc were held. The event concluded with a valedictory ceremony where winners were facilitated with prizes and certificates. School principal Mrs. Zakia Majid Siddiqui, appreciated the efforts of Uma Bhardwaj, HOD Computer Science and her team for organizing the event, and encouraged students to think critically and adopt a technologically – friendly approach to life.
