Hamdard Public School has awarded its avid readers for ‘The Readers of the Year 2017-18′ as per their Classes, on the occasion of Co-curricular Activities (CCA) Finale held on 19.02.2018.
The Honorable Chief Guest Mr Samar Hamid, Secretary HES along with our respected Principal Mr. Zubair Ahmad Khan have distributed the trophies and certificates to the Best Reader of the classes which inspired one and all present there. Readers of the Year Award is a motivation to all our students.
Ms. Misbah, Librarian, HPS has done a marvelous job in creating them an avid reader and also transformed the collection and infrastructure of HPS Library.
Kalam Memorial is one of the most awaited memorial Park of our Late President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. It was inaugurated at Dilli Haat, INA on July 30, 2016 to keep the legacy of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam alive in the heart of every Indian. The park is a biggest testimony of our undying love for the ‘Peoples’s President’ as he was fondly called. Dedicated to Dr Kalam and every child of India, the memorial continues to inspire score of visitors,especially young minds.
The park has on display his personal belongings, including books, spectacles, pen, clothes, writing pads, unpublished papers,audio-visual materials etc. which will continue to inspire youths around the world in the coming years.
Students have enjoyed the exhibition and learnt a many valuable teachings of Dr Kalam. Teachers who had accompanied the students stated that “Really, He is a Man ahead of His times, who gives us memories of a lifetime.”
The Scholastic Book Fair 2017 was organized in the premises of Hamdard Public School, Talimabad Campus. Displayed more than 500 titles of various genres: Fiction, Non-Fiction, Science, Space, Art & Craft, Dictionaries, Yearbooks, etc. along with a many activity box, the fair has filled a great enthusiasm among students.
The books titled ‘NO TOUCH’ by J. Krishna and ‘SCHOLASTIC YEAR BOOK 2018’ were the highlights of the book fair.
The Fair has been ended on the day of Parent-Teachers Meeting (PTM) which provides an opportunity for the parents as well to get a glimpse of the book world. Students filled with a zest and zeal purchased the books along with their parents.
It was really an excellent learning experience for all who becomes the part of the fair.
Hamdard Public School organized a workshop for teachers titled as ‘TEACHERS POSITIVE AND ENCOURAGING ATTITUDE TOWARDS CHILDREN & THEMSELVES’.
The resource person Mr Lokesh Darira from Eupheus Learning has presented a simple yet informative presentation to the teachers in his own dynamic and motivated style. The workshop emphasized on developing a healthy and positive teacher-student relationship. He laid emphasis upon the fact that successful teachers are always exploring new and exciting strategies that keep students motivated and committed.
Teachers were described as a Game Changers in a students life. The importance of a smile on teachers face was encouraged in fostering better relationship with students. The success of a student was determined by emotional quotient consisting of IQ & Academics both.
The Principal Mr. Zubair Ahmed Khan has appreciated the way of Mr Darira and presented him a token of love. The teachers enjoyed the workshop and learnt the various ways to enhance their vocational skills.
It was really an excellent, informative experience for all presented there.

The National Science Centre showed a warm welcome to all and interestingly presented various curriculum based programs to the students through their projection technology.
Students and teachers visited the prehistoric life gallery. 35 species of life forms of different ages such as gigantic dinosaurs, early birds, giant scorpions and other living creatures were exhibited in the gallery using artificially created matching ambience through special light and sound effects.
The exhibition prompted the kids to answer several mind boggling questions as how life originated on our planet? Where did it evolve? Who were our ancestors? And so on.
In addition to this, the Centre also displayed curriculum linked sphere show on the planets and natural satellite in the solar system. A six feet diameter sphere-a giant digital globe attracted students’ attention to the animation, graphics and images on planetary data. Designed programs were aimed at creating and enhancing scientific awareness while at the same time imparting scientific education in an interesting way.
